We have a diverse community that brings an even wider diversity of experience and opinions. That’s what makes for a robust and vital town. In my role as Mayor Pro Tem, I talk with residents who disagree with me all the time (we don’t usually hear from the ones that agree with us). And that’s great. We learn from and come to better understand each other through those conversations. But it’s difficult to have those conversations if we can’t even agree on the facts, which has been made more challenging by the pattern of dissemination of misinformation that we have seen locally over the last several years.
